Farmhouse, now house. Datestone over door IB/1762. Coursed limestone rubble;
stone slate and old tile roof; brick stacks and stone stack. L-plan. 2 storeys;
2-window range. Chamfered timber lintel over late C19 six-panelled (2 glazed)
door; late C19 trellised porch. Chamfered timber lintels over late C19
three-light casements. Roof hipped to left, gabled to right; gable end stack to
rear, ridge stack to right, lateral stack to left. Outshut with C18 two-light
leaded casement to rear. Similar 2-storey wing with C18 plank door to rear left.
Interior: 2-panelled doors. Chamfered beams, chamfered bressumer over fireplace
to right. Full set of chamfered beams and joists and newel stairs to rear left
room. Collar truss roof with butt purlins. Subsidiary features: taller 2-storey,
one-bay block in similar materials with brick dressings and brick gable end
stack; brackets to mid C18 segmental hood over C20 door to left; segmental
arches of alternating flared and red brick over late C19 casements and C18
two-light leaded casements (one with diamond cames to rear); late C20 dormer
over rear outshut.
