Lodge to Kingston Lisle Park (q.v.). Early C19, extended c.1900. Chalk rubble,
brick quoins, limestone dressings; stone slate roof; brick stacks. Original
single-unit plan extended to 2 units c.1900. Tudor Revival style; 1 1/2-storey,
2-window range. 4-centered arch with moulded architrave over planked door.
Lateral moulds over two 2-light cavetto-moulded stone-mullioned windows, one to
left being early C19, one to right c.1900. Dentilled eaves; 3 gabled dormers of
c.1900 have 2-light casements with arched heads; gabled roof; end stack.
Interior: chamfered and stopped beam in hall. C20 brick and tile lean-to at
rear to left. Entrance gates and gate piers to Kingston Lisle Park adjoining to
left: wrought-iron gates, limestone ashlar piers with ball finials. Included
for group value.
