1. LITTLE COXWELL

1760 with an 1860 NE addition as recorded on a datestone and a further 1920s NE
extension. Squared rubble stone and brick dressings with a hipped stone tiled roof
with side brick stacks. Principal SW front of 2 storeys and 3 bays with the centre
bay slightly projecting and crowned by a small pediment with a blind semi-circular
lunette. Central door in arched opening with a radiating fanlight. The outer windows
are 8 pane sashes. The 1860 addition has a canted bay and 2 dormers to its NW facade.
Plain gate piers in the garden wall which are linked by fine circa 1850 cast iron
gates are not of special interest.
