House, now 2 houses. Early C17 rear range; front range has datestone K/IS/1725.
Coursed limestone rubble; hipped thatch roof; stone right end stack. One-unit
lobby-entry plan, extended to 2 units. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Timber lintels
over C20 door with thatched porch, and C20 casements; chamfered stone lintels
and jambs to C20 two-light casement in blocked opening to left, Early C19 bay to
right has timber lintel over blocked door. Interior: cased beam to right, and
stop-chamfered bressumer over large open fireplace to left; similar small
fireplace on first floor. Butt-purlin roof. Early C17 rear range (The Small
Thatched Cottage) is of similar materials with brick end stack. One storey and
attic; 2-window range. with 3-light ovolo-moulded wood-mullioned window to rear.
