GV II

Row of 3 or 4 cottages, now one house. Early/mid C17, possibly extended into row
late C17/early C18. Limestone rubble with wooden lintels; thatch roof with brick
stacks. Single-unit plans. 2 storeys. Entrance front, facing away from road, has
irregular fenestration with C20 casements; to rear one small stone-framed
opening plus a small casement. Roof has stacks at ends and to left of centre.
Interior: C17 stop-chamfered joists in one unit; 3 open fireplaces with bread
ovens; moulded spit rack, possibly C17; through-purlin roofs.
