Memorial. 1923 by Sir Edwin Lutyens. To the S near the boundary wall, a
sarcophagus of Portland stone set on a coved stone plinth with heraldic arms
on each end. The monument is placed across a privet hedge enclosure with
round stone plaques set in the ground at either end. Lutyens Exhibition
Catalogue, Hayward Gallery, 1981, 193.
