Farmhouse, now house. C16 origins; mid C17 with C18 alterations and C20
additions. Stone coursed rubble to ground floor of cross-wing to left;
roughcast, probably on timber-framing to first floor of cross-wing; painted
brick to main range; old plain-tile roof; brick end stack to right, lateral
stack to end of cross-wing. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window main range, with
2-stormy, 2-bay cross-wing to left. Main front to garden. C20 glazed door to
left of Rain range. Irregular fenestration of C19 casements except C17 Ipswich
window to first floor right return of cross-wing. C20 sloping roof-lights.
Interior: C18 open-well staircase with wood baluster balustrade, moulded wood
handrail, and panelled dado, from ground to first floor. Queen-post roof. C16
4-centred stone arched fireplace to study to ground floor rear. C18 fielded
panelling to several rooms.
