Barn. Late C17, with mid C19 alteration. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled stone
slate roof with moulded kneelers to stone coping. 5-bay plan. Central threshing
floor doors blocked when barn converted to machine threshing in mid C19;
segmental stone arch over loft door, with adjoining flywheel; gabled mid C19 bay
to right with gabled roof and double doors. Interior: 5-bay collar-truss roof
with windbraces, butt purlins and C20 struts. Floor removed. Subsidiary
features: 7-bay cartsheds of similar materials attached to rear left: have mid
C19 roofs, with late C17 jowled posts to 4-bay cartshed and plain posts to mid
C19 3-bay extension to rear.
