House. C17 with mid C19 re-facing and later additions. Timber framed,
rendered brick re-facing and additions, and old tile roof with catslide
over outshut to rear. L-plan baffle entry type with 3 framed bays to
right. 1½ storeys. 3 gabled eaves dormers with 2-light leaded casements,
and bargeboards with finials. C20 end stack to right, stack off-centre to
right behind ridge, large central stone and brick stack above door, and 2
end stacks to left. 4 pairs of French casements with unfluted pilastered
surrounds, arcaded Gothic friezes, and incurved metal hoods. Central semi-
octagonal rendered porch with cornice and blocking course; boarded door
with moulded architrave in recessed surround, pointed-arched windows in
canted sides, and blank panels on right and left-hand sides. Late C19
gabled wing projecting to left with teethed brick verge; first floor 3-
light window with casements flanking central sash, and gable above with
toothed verge and grotesque mask; ground floor 2-light C20 casement.
Interior: octagonal entrance hall with early C19 fluted pelmets. Queen
post trusses.
