Early C19 stucco to early C17 timber frame. 2 storeys; 4 early three-light
casement windows; early C19 panelled door and adjoining box window. No
12, on left hand side, has early C19 simple doorcase with a sash window
on each side, all contained beneath moulded wood cornice, Square-headed
carriage-way at centre with exposed timber framing to soffit and sides;
plain eaves; old tiles. Good Jacobean staircase.

Nos 9 to 34 (consec), Gaskell Arms Hotel, and The Old Vicarage form a
group
