Probably C17 origin. A 3-storey red brick house of 2 bays with 2 storey extensions,
the north front partly rendered. Part of a stone base survives and there is some
timber framing internally, so this was probably a box-framed house encased in brick
in the C18. The gable ends project above roof line without copings. Tall external
brick chimney stack rising from extension in west gable. Early C19 glazing bar sashes
and 2 light wood casements. Thin pilaster framed doorway to rear. Gable end old tile
roof. The roof structure is ceiled in. Good spine beam in main room.
