SO 27 NE LLANFAIR WATERDINE C.P. -

Farmhouse. Late C16 or Cl7 with mid-to-late C19 alterations and additions.
Timber framed with C20 brick nogging, weatherboarding, and slate-hung
gables to front; coursed limestone rubble, rendered to front; slate
roof. Irregular T -plan, main range aligned north-west/south-east.
One storey and attic and 2 storeys. Large central rendered ridge stack
and external brick end stack to right. 4-window front; C19 and C20 two-
and 4-light casements, C19 addition to right with 4-pane sashes including
gabled semi-dormer. 2 central gabled projections, both formerly jettied,
but later underbuilt; that to left with chamfered bressumer and square-
panelled framing, and 2 storey porch to right with moulded bressumer and
carved bracket to right, square-panelled framing with parallel diagonal
studs forming lozenge panels, jettied gable-end on plain brackets and
boarded door in right-hand return front. Later wing to rear with central
ridge stack.
