Farmhouse. C17, partly remodelled in mid-C19. Probably timber
framed, partly rebuilt and extended in coursed limestone rubble
(with evidence of former lime-washing to North), rendered to West,
and slate roof, hipped to right. 2 parallel ranges. 2 storeys to
rear and 2 storeys, basement and gable-lit attic to front. Integral
brick end-stack to left of front range and large brick stack on
cross-ridge off-centre to right. C19 two-light casements, 2 to
first floor and 3 to ground floor, that in centre replacing former
doorway, Left-hand return front: right-hand gable-end with attic
window and 5 steps up to half-glazed C20 door to left with bracketed
hood, and left-hand gable-end with 2-light casement on each floor.
