6/18 The Malthouse

Farmhouse and former malthouse attached. Probably late C18. Random limestone
rubble, machine tiled roof (slates to parallel range behind), projecting
eaves and end stacks, with prominent ridge stack to range behind. 2 storeys
and garret, 3 windows, 16-paned glazing bar sashes with flat-arched heads;
central 6-panel door with wreathed radiating fanlight, C20 timber porch.
Contemporary malthouse attached at right angles to left, gable slightly projecting
to front, one range of openings to front; malting floors removed.
