House, now part of shop. C16 and C17 with late-C19 refacing and
additions. Roughcast timber frame, stuccoed brick additions, and
slate roof, half-hipped to east. 3 framed bays at right angles to
road with later addition to east. 2 storeys. First floor late-C19
4-pane sash and ground floor late-C20 plate glass shop front, with
angled corner to right. North front: late-C19 block set back to left
with first floor 4-pane sash and gable above and ground floor C20 plate
glass shop front; right-hand block with 3 first floor C20 small-paned
metal casements, that to right raking semi-dormer; 2 central ground
floor late-C19 four-pane sashes, small C20 casement to left. 2-light
C20 metal casement to right, and half-glazed door to right. Interior: 3
framed bays to east; ground floor: C16 ceiling with heavily moulded
cross beams and joists with run-out stops.
