Markham memorial approx. 4 metres to south-west of tower of Church of Saint Margaret

Pedestal tomb. Dated 1778. Grey sandstone ashlar. Moulded plinth,
square panels with roll-moulded reveals, moulded cornice to hollow
chamfered top and ovoid finial with flutes to top and bottom and swags.
Large sandstone base with evidence of former railed enclosure. To John
James Markham Bart, died Dec. 10th 1778.
