Farmhouse. Dated 1726 and 1767. Cary stone rubble; Welsh slate roof to main wing, double
Roman clay tiles to return, both between coped gables; brick chimney stacks. 'L'-plan;
2 storeys, north-west elevation of 3 bays, of which bay 3 is the forward projecting
wing. Casement windows of several patterns, of which the upper bay 1 is a C18 leaded
casement; small porch to lower bay 2, rendered, with slate lean-to roof and late C20
door: return wing of 5 bays, including a straight joint, has 3 blocked doorways; upper
bay 3 has another C18 leaded casement; 1726 datestone in gable. South-east elevation
of 4 bays, with C20 casement windows, but old boarded door with ashlar surround and
small flat moulded hood, with datestone over M/EH/1767. Through passage plan - until
recent years public footpath ran through house - old oven etc., boarded up in north
gable wall; one chamfered crossbeam with step and runout.
