Former parsonage, now private house. C17. Cary stone rubble roughly coursed, Doulting stone dressings; plain clay tile
roof between coped gables; brick chimney stacks. 'L'-plan; 2 storeys, north elevation of 4 bays, of which bay 4 is the
gable end of the return wing. Leaded casement windows of 3 lights under timber lintols to bays 1 and 2, with iron
framed opening lights; 4-light ovolo-mould mullioned windows under square labels bay 3, and two single-light leaded
windows bay 4 ground level; a blocked window at first floor level. The west-facing return wing, of 2 bays has
ovolo-mould timber-framed windows with leaded lights and iron opening frames, of 3-lights above and 4 lights below; a
matching but probably later extension southwards, linked by a single-storey section containing the C20 entrance door.
Interior not seen. This was the house of the C18 diarist Parson Woodforde - the living was in the family for almost l00
