Granary, 20 metres South of Manor Farmhouse

Granary. C18 local stone rubble, coursed; hipped plain clay tile roof. 2 storeys. 1 bay. Keystoned segmental voussiored arch to upper ground floor doorway, now approached by brick staircase; above a 2-light leaded casement; undercroft formerly had semi-circular arches, now blocked. Interior brick lined walls faced with elm boards; compartnents still identifiable, and bushel levels indicated on posts; access ladder to upper floor; hoist and pully wheel still survive.
Linked by brick lean-to to the Barn (qv); part of important group associated with Manor Farmhouse (qv).
