House. C17 and earlier, timber-framed and plastered with red plain tile roof.
2 storeys and attics. 3 window range, C20 casements and C19 vertical sliding
sashes with side lights, and glazing bars. One original window with ovolo
mullions. Staircase tower at west end. Main entrance has flat hood on
brackets. Red brick chimney stacks, C17 and later. Internally much of the
original framing is apparent, and there is C17 oak panelling. Formerly Chivers
Hall.
