Public house, formerly 2 houses. Late C16 and late C17. Timber framed and
plastered, with red plain tile roof. 2 storeys. 2, 2 window range, C19
vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars and C20 louvred shutters to first
floor. C20 gabled porch, with wooden columns and decorative bargeboards, 1
canted bay at west end. Late C16 red brick central chimney stack in west range.
Iron pump mounted on east end wall. Internally the frame is exposed, with late
C16 chamfered bridging joists and original fireplaces.
