C18. 2 storey and attic. Elaborate symmetrical design of red brick on stone
plinth, with stone string at lst floor, stone architraves to all windows, stone
moulded and bracketed cornice, tall parapet with recessed vitreous brick panels
to left hand pant and small windows in centre and right hand part, stone coping
and half hipped old tile roof. 2-storey central angular bay (lst floor and
attic) with cornice carried round and hipped roof projection, the bay carried
on 4 Doric columns and entablature. The bay has 3 windows to upper floors
and 2 narrow windows on ground floor flanking 6-panel central door with good
knocker. 3 windows flanking bay on each side. All windows on ground and 1st
floors have triple keystones. The architrave to ground floor windows carried +
down to plinth. Each gable end has large semi-circular 3-light attic window
and one window under on lst floor. Interior has late C18 stair and some good
contemporary panelling. Extension set back to right of 3 storeys red brick.
Hipped old tile roof. Stone cornice. Semi-circular 3 light windows, 1 each
floor facing street.
