Late C19. Whitewashed brick. Slate roof. Two storeys. Wood modillioned eaves
cornice. Two first floor sashes with raised and panelled architraves, and moulded
cornice with modillions on elaborate moulded consoles. Good wooden public house
front: moulded and modillioned cornice on seven gadrooned consoles with large
lions' masks: two doors with four moulded panels each and oblong fanlight in panelled
reveals: windows with arched glazing bars and finials at apex: moulded panels at
dado level. No 28 (qv) now a part of this public house.
