II
Farmhouse. C16 and early C19. Brick with C20 tiled roof. Two-
storey and attic. Three bays with 2 rear wings, each of 1 bay.
Central hall and flanking reception rooms. Six-panel door with
bracketed canopy. Venetian ground floor windows with leaded lights
and gauged brick lintels with centre arch. Blue brick plinth and
flush band. Two-light first floor leaded windows and dentilled
eaves. Three gabled dormers in gambrel roof. Left rear wing now
kitchen and right wing dairy and pantry, both wings with gambrel
roofs.
Interior: Right reception room originally kitchen with large
fireplace and timber fire lintel. Rear kitchen wing has C16 deep
chamfered ceiling beams. Dairy has Cream/cheese bench.
