II
Farmhouse now subdivided. Late C18, extended C19 and
refenestrated C20. Red brick in header bond with some
vitrified headers on cement plinth. Tiled roof with brick
chimneystacks. 2 storeys and 4 windows. 4 C20 triple metal
framed casement windows. Ground floor windows have cambered
casements. Off central doorcase with flat wooden weatherhood
with brackets and 6-panelled.door. To the right is a C20
French window in a cambered surround deepened from a window.
Catslide roof to rear. Stone plinth to sides and rear. Early
C19. 6-panelled door to rear elevation. Linked to the farmhouse
by a slate pentice is a 1 storey outbuilding of red brick with
tiled roof, 3-light C19 casement and plank door, probably
originally a brewhouse. The farmhouse contains a thick
chamfered spine beam with lambs tongue stops.
