House. Early to mid C17, restored in the C19. Timber-framed with painted brick
infilling. Plain tiled roof with ridge stack to right of centre and end stack to left.
Partial catslide outshut to rear at north-west corner. 2 storeys; 3 windows on both
floors, all C19 three-light wood-framed casements. Planked door to right of central
ground floor window with further door, half-glazed in single-storey lean-to extension
at lefthand end. Interior: substantial evidence of timber-framing, though the frame
has been partially underbuilt on the ground-floor. Baffle-entry plan survives, though
partitions have been removed; two large fireplaces with chamfered bressumers on
ground floor. Single-purlin, queen post roof.
