18/28 The Manor Public House
GV II
Public house. Late C18/early C19 with early C20 alterations. Red brick, Flemish
bond and plain-tiled roof, hipped at the angle. Eaves cornice of wood. End and
ridge stacks. L-plan. Front to the road in 5 bays of cross frame casements with
leaded lights. Central doorway with possibly later engaged Roman Doric doorcase
with entablature. Double doors in round headed arch with fanlight with radial
glazing bars. Flush panelled double doors. Included for group value.
