GV II

Cottage. C17 and C19. Brick and malmstone, probably replacing
timber framing. Thatched roof. Two storeys, 4 bays. Centre 2
bays have half glazed door to left over 4 steps, and with thatched
canopy. Small C19 canted bay to right. One storey and attic
dormer, now raised to 2 storeys. Left bay perhaps rebuild of
original single storey structure, with paned casement windows and
C20 lean-to to rear. Right bay refaced in later C19 but heavy
truss exposed on return, and extended to rear in C18 by 1 bay,
later further extended.
