Cottage. Early C18. Colourwashed brick with thatched roof. Two
storeys 2 bays. Boarded door to left, heated, bay, with simple
pitched canopy. Inset 2-light windows with diamond leading, the
windows irregularly spaced; 3 to ground and 2 to first floor.
Pantiled lean-to to left, and brick and pantiled addition to right,
extended to rear as single storey structure with rear door.
Thatched canted bay to sitting room in right bay, rear. Roof
hipped to right with rebuilt gable stack on left.
Interior has large open greensand fireplace with timber lintel
worked with lambs tongue moulding and bead arris. Oven in
fireplace. Spine beam with chamfers and run out stops. Stair
against rear right corner of room.
