House, now bank with flat over. C16 or C17. Timber framed with
colourwashed brick ground floor, jettied and rendered to first
floor, and roof tiled. Two storeys, 2 bays. Arcaded shop window
with recessed door in left bay. Four-paned sashes and moulded
timber cornice. Building recorded as having jetties on both sides,
indicating it was once free-standing. Two storey extension to rear
with various windows. Second pantiled roof to rear. The oven for
the earlier bakery runs under the rear garden.
