II

Cottage. C17. Timber framed, replaced piecemeal with brick,
thatched roof. Single storey and attic, originally of 2 bays, a
heated living hall and an inner room, and 2 bay extension on left,
probably originally an outbuilding, the framing replaced by brick.
Entrance now in extension, a boarded door with paned light set in a
framed opening. Timber casement windows to ground floor, but one
C18 or early C19 small paned window with iron casement and two
similar windows in 3 flush dormers. Gable stack and stack added to
gable of extension.
