Early C19, altered. 3 storey and basement. Bath stone on projecting plinth.
Rusticated ground floor treatment. String at 1st floor level. Moulded entablature
and blocking course. Slate roof. Incised string over 1st floor windows. 4 narrow
pilasters with incised pattern. 4 windows, 4 panels wide, on upper floors. Arched
door, C19, to left hand - 1 window, 4 panes wide, in segmental arched recess, -
Cl9 bay, 6 panel door to right hand with architrave and cornice on console brackets,
in projecting porch with pilasters, incised lines, and entablature. Flanking wings,
1840), 1 storey to left hand, 2-storey to right hand. 1 window in recess with flanking
Doric pilasters and entablature. 3 storey canted bay at rear of Etheldune from
basement level which has an open arcade. Former double entry with rustic square
piers having pyramidal capping and swag top gates with spear head rails and dog
rails.
