1862. Pump and drinking fountain presented by the Rev W. J. Hardman of St John's
Studley. Gothic stone structure with pointed arch of 2 orders and a label below
high pointed gable containing a blind pointed tablet, also with label. Coped verge
with saddlestone, moulded footstones and angle buttresses. Octagonal cast iron
pump with finial in arched recess. Shield over inscribed "Let him who is athirst
etc".
