5/73 Road bridge over River Avon

Partly in Staverton C.P.
Road bridge. Possibly late Medieval, rebuilt C18, C19 and C20.
Dressed limestone. Two recessed pointed arches to centre on north
side with triangular cutwater between, side arches are segmental,
plain parapet with pitched coping. South side has four C18
segmental arches with raised keystones. Underside of two pointed
arches on north side have flat stone ribs to pointed barrel vault,
these two arches possibly C15.
