Barn, early C18, converted to cottages in C19 and altered c.1975. Rubble stone
with concrete plain tiles. Main range with coped north gable and end wall
stack, half-hipped south gable and ridge stack. Two storeys and attic. East
side, 2 small dormers, 2 central early C19 first floor 12-pane sashes with C20
window below, all in area of infilled cart-entry. C20 window to ground floor
right. South end has large 12-pane first floor sash and 2 ground floor 15-pane
sashes. Door in end of lean-to on west wall. West wall has gabled centre pro-
jection, former cart-entry, with late C19 two-light mullion window in gable
and ground floor recessed arched doorway with traceried fanlight, possibly
early C19. Lean-to to right. To left, one window range of 20-pane sashes.
Across north end is slightly lower range, possibly earlier (from placing of
cornerstones at south-west angle), coped gables to west and east, C20 windows
to north, and east end first floor Tudor-arched opening over C20 door. Wash-
house addition to right.
