Mill House. C17. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled double Roman tile
roof; stone left end stack. 2-unit plan. One storey and attic; 2-
window range. Timber lintel over C19 beaded plank door to centre,
flanked by C17 chamfered and stone-mullioned 2-light windows. Similar
windows to first floor of each gable end, one with C19 iron casements.
Later rear left outshut and mid C20 brick rear right outshut.
Interior not inspected but noted as having open fireplace with
chamfered bressummer, plain beams and A-frame roof with chamfered butt
purlins. The mill dates from at least the mid C16; milling ceased in
the late C19 and the mill buildings were demolished after 1945 (VCH).
