GV II


Farmhouse, late C18 to early C19, rubble stone with stone slate
roofs, north end stack and ridge stack to west range, ridge stack
to south range. Two storeys and attic, L-plan. West range appears
earlier with roof half-hipped to south. Various sashes in flush
ashlar surrounds to west, east front has first floor small sash and
12-pane sash over door and two cyma-moulded 2-light mullion
windows. South end has attic light, first floor 2-light unmoulded
window and ground floor 2-light bead-moulded window with door to
right. South range is attached at south east angle, apparently
early C19 with 16-pane sash each floor to left and 2-light
unmoulded mullion window to each floor to right. Rear lean-to,
similar mullion windows on east end wall. Probably a dairy and
cheese-room addition
