The churchyard wall to south, east and north of Church of St Mary

Churchyard wall. C17 or earlier and C18. Flint and rubble base and red brick. Road front about 6 feet high on plinth with gate piers and simple overthrow with lamp, the whole about 50 yards with buttresses. The east wall with irregular and English Garden Wall bonds, with coping and dated 1637 picked out in yellow brick near the church and also with some blue brick diaper work. North wall with C18 red brick with fourteen buttresses and attached to the north a section of the old garden wall of Wingham House, now partly enclosing a bowling green, about 12 feet high on plinth, extending about 30 yards.
