Group of 6 headstones. Mary Willmot, e.C18. About 3 feet high, with
crudely carved double head showing skull and cross bones and hourglass
on wings. About half a metre west is a blank stone with only the head
surviving, showing a winged hourglass on laurel branches with a shaped
head. Thomas Smith, d.1740. About 3 feet high, with shaped head with
skull and cross bones and pick and shovel, with the inscription on a
shield. Elizabeth Hammond, d.1758. About 3 feet high. with shaped
and scrolled head with palm fronds. Ann Hudson, d.1743. About 2 feet
high, with shaped segmental head with palm fronds and orb. Valentine
Stuppell, d.1774. About 3 feet high, with rocaille head and winged
cherub.
