House, late C17th, altered. Sandstone rubble with slate roof. End-lobby
entry plan altered to central entry. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Windows have rebated
and chamfered surrounds, except for the ground floor one to the left-hand bay,
which is modern with plain reveals and has a modern door to its left. Door
between bays has chamfered surround and battlemented lintel with re-cut
inscription: 'WM 1751'. At the right of the facade the former position of the
doorway can be seen in the stonework. A modern single-storey glazed porch
covers part of the facade. End chimneys. Interior has chamfered main beams,
including one near the right-hand gable wall which was probably a firehood
bressummer. The present fireplace is shouldered and of C18th type.
