Houses. C17th with late C18th alterations. Pebbledashed rubble with
sandstone dressings and slate roof. No. 96 is of 2-unit central entry plan
with end stacks, with a 3rd unit (No. 94) to the right. 2 storeys with attic.
All windows have plain stone surrounds. No. 96 has a sashed window to the
left of the door and a double window to the right with a reconstructed
surround and one sash and one fixed light separated by a wide mullion. On
the 1st floor the central window surround has a semi-circular head. The two
other windows are 6-light sashes. No. 94 has a doorway with plain reveals,
with a modern window in a plain stone surround to the right and a similar
window on the 1st floor. Left-hand gable (No. 96) has attic window with
plain reveals and wooden lintel, and a corbelled wooden frame supporting a
chimney cap and giving evidence of a former firehood. Later wing to rear.
