Public House, early C19th. Watershot limestone with limestone dressings
and slate roof. Symmetrical double-pile plan. 2 storeys, 3 bays.
Windows sashed with glazing bars and dressed stone reveals. Door has
plain stone surround and hood on console brackets. Roof projects on
purlins. Former barn and stables under a lower roof adjoining to the left
has date '1829' over former barn entrance.
