Farmhouse, probably early C18, later extended to the right. Hand made brick,
slate roof with gable chimneys (the 2nd now the junction with the extension).
Two bays with short outshut to 1st bay housing staircase, later extension to
rear of 2nd bay, and one bay added at right end. Two storeys; original part
almost symmetrical, with central door, 2 square cross windows on each floor,
all with wooden mullions and transoms and glazing bars to make 30 panes.
Abutting farm building to left (not included in the item), C19 continuation to
right; rear of less interest. Interior: inglenook bressumer with stopped
ovolo moulding; door to parlour with shouldered fielded panel; dogleg
staircase with raised handgrip.
