Pair of cottages, 'IHA 1798' on plaque. Squared sandstone blocks with brick
gable stacks and modern tile roof. 2 storeys with cellar. Each house of
one bay, but with an additional window inserted over the doorway to No. 61.
The windows have plain reveals, those to No. 61 being sashed. The plain
stone door surrounds are paired in the centre of the facade and each is
reached by 5 stone steps. Each house has a triple cellar loomshop window
with plain stone surround, that to No. 61 being blocked, that to No. 62
still having one light used as a window. Both cottages have stone gutter
brackets.
