House, probably c.1800 with late C17 remains. Rendered with slate roof. 2
storeys, 3 bays. Windows sashed with glazing bars, with stone sills and
lintels. Door, between 2nd and 3rd bays, has plain reveals. Chimneys
between 1st and 2nd bays and on right-hand gable. The gable walls have
some watershot stonework visible. In the rear wall of the house, now
within a rear extension, is a plaque inscribed: 'HGA 1740'. A door leads
from this extension into the middle room of the front range and opens into
a lobby against the hearth. A chamfered and stopped firehood bressumer
remains. The ceiling beam in this room is also chamfered and stopped.
