House with date of 1613 on porch but thought to be late C17 altered cl900. Stone with
plinth. Stone slate roof with molded coping and kneelers. Continuous stringcourse above
ground floor and another at eaves level. H plan. West front has two gabled wings
with centre gabled jettied porch. Porch door is ogee moulded with 3-light window
above. Either side of porch on ground floor is a 2-light window. Gabled wings
are identical with 2, 3-light windows on ground floor, one 5-light window on first
floor and one 2-light with labels at gable. East front is similar without porch.
Large stack on ridge behind left wing. Interior has low stone doorway and a stone
fireplace with two ovens, otherwise stripped and house reroofed c1900. (30/p146/RCHM).
