House, dated 1577, main range and west wing early C17. Freestone with plinth and quoins. Stone slate roof. 2 storey centre and 2 gabled wing, now 2 dwellings. Front left gable has one 5-light stone mullion window with drip label per storey. Ground floor of centre has chamfered doorway. 6-light hall mullion and transom window with door inserted on lower right-hand 2-lights, between is 2-light window in blocked doorway with drip labels above.1st floor has three 4-light windows. Right-hand gable has 6-light window and 6-light mullion and transom window above. Porch at rear is under same roof as gabled wing. Porch entrance is now altered to a window, tablet above is inscribed 1577/1878. Three chimneys. Interior has stone doorways and fireplaces, beams on stone corbels 1st floor has Tudor arched doorway with original oak studded
door. RCHM report altered interior but early C17 roof structures with short king posts and trenched purlins. (36/p148/RCHM).
