Cottage, dated 1765 on plaque to rear. Coursed squared stone with Collyweston stone
slate roof, with coped gable to west, brick ridge and end stacks. One storey, with
slightly higher windowless bay to east. Timber lintels over 3 windows, including
one C19 three-light casement which retains hooks for shutters. Timber lintel over
blocked former entrance. Present entrance in C20 extension to rear. Until 1956
this building was the Engine Inn.
