3/89 No. 2 (Cornerways) and corner
stone
GV II

Cottage. Dated 1567(?). Coursed rubble stone and thatch roof with stone
and brick end stacks. Stone coped gables. 1½ storeys of 2 3-light casements
with 2 similar eyebrow dormers over. Central door up 4 stone steps. Wooden
lintels. On left corner a triangular, possibly boundary, stone. On left
gable a stone tablet inscribed B.I.S.1567(?).
