Farmhouse. Mid C18 incorporating earlier fragments. Charnwood granite rubble,
and red brick with a slate roof. A single ridge and a single gable stack.
Red brick gables, raised coped gables and kneelers. Red brick quoins to left.
2 storey. Entrance front, 4 bays with off-centre doorway, with C20 wooden porch.
Eitherside are single 3 light casements, with a further similar casement
beyond to the right. Above 4 2-light casements, that over the doorway smaller.
INTERIOR, originally 3-bay cross passage plan. Chamfered spine beams with close
studded partitions. Very large rubble stack, probably from a much earlier house
on this site.
